About Us

Among the first to be State Certified and Insured

We have been in the wild foraged goods business for nearly 10 years. Among the first individuals in the state to earn certifications as  "Wild Foraged Mushroom Expert's" we have worked throughout the decade to grow our business. We strive daily to bring our customers nothing but the highest quality foraged goods as well as knowledge learned from firsthand experience over the years.

Stay Connected

Seasonal species are available through the year. We suggest that our customers keep in contact and reference our site frequently in order to see what we are pulling out of the woods in any given week. We aim to keep our site updated so everyone knows what to expect and can meal plan for the week.

Book a Private Property Assessment

Would you happen to be a landowner with a few acres of land and wondering what indigenous plants and fungi you have on your property? Feel free to contact us for a guide through your property or an unguided valuation. We often look for more opportunities to sustainably harvest indigenous resources. We offer options if property owners allow the harvesting of goods on their property.

A delicious mushroom that happens to make its appearance briefly after the snow melt and spring rains usher in moisture to our grounds here in Michigan. This is the mushroom that the people of Michigan seek out most!

Laetiporus Sp (Chicken of the Woods)

25

A springtime through fall mushroom often found starting to fruit in the middle of morel season. When prepared properly this mushroom has the flavor and texture of real chicken.

Pleurotus Sp (Oyster Mushroom)

25

One of the most widely consumed mushrooms in the world. Oyster mushrooms have a very mild flavor. Being a very versatile mushroom when used in the kitchen, oysters may be battered and fried, added to soups, or marinated and used as a meaty textured burger substitute.

Foraged Plants

Every plant is foraged in Michigan. Availability depends on season. Prices listed are per pound. *

Wild Ramp Greens

Many foragers provide wild ramps. While the bulbs are a common delight that are sought after we provide the leafy greens which may be dried and used as spices, mixed into salads, or used a wrap. We can sustainably harvest these with more ease without harm to the ecosystem; compared to providing the bulbs. Allowing us to pass savings of a more cost-efficient and eco-friendly process to our customers while still providing a versatile ingredient.

Fiddlehead Ferns

20

The Ostrich Fern is indigenous to Michigan and offers a great delicacy that may be substituted for asparagus or broccoli in any dish. They are only up for a few weeks a year so harvest time can be quite a challenge!

Stinging Nettle

Stinging Nettle are a spring time treat in our area. While their thorns may deter certain animals and individuals... some foragers are aware of the amazing flavor and nutrition value of these delights! From creating an amazing pesto or mixing in a pasta as a spinach substitute one cannot go wrong when cooking with nettles.

*Prices subject to change at any time without notification from provider.
